Pendulum of Life, is a constellation of suspended glass discs that channel light into movement and space. Inspired by the matopetra, the “evil-eye” amulet, pervasive in Cyprus and the Levant, Papadopoulos reimagines this ancient symbol to explore concepts, values and attitudes that sustain communities’ multitudes of confluences. Through this dialogue between light and material, Papadopoulos invites a quieter way of seeing: perception rooted in stillness, memory, and the unseen bonds that brings us together.
