Fovea VI
For a visual artist, vision is the most important factulty of humans. Fovea VI is inspired by the tiny pit in the retina where vision is sharpest. Two faces explore that point of focus. On one, cool whites and silver fragments are drawn towards a dark, swirling centre; on the other, fractured glass and veins of gold radiate from an intense core. Held in a polished stainless steel bezel and stand, the piece is about how we see, and what we choose to look at.
