Golden Frisia Autumn returns to a view held in memory: a tree seen through a window, season after season. Here it is at its most golden, the leaves glowing ochre and lemon against a pale sky, caught in a dense web of dark branches traced by the breaking glass. The dark wooden bars sit in front like a window frame, placing us on the inside looking out. It is a scene of warmth and fullness, just before the leaves let go, a moment remembered rather than simply seen.
