Inspired by the colours and imagery of Erik Madigan Heck's 2013 photograph 'Without a Face,' Flatten the Image draws attention to the stratification in laminated glass art. While Heck is known for not digitally manipulating his photographs with adjustment layers, Yorgos's process always involves working in layers. These layers are eventually combined, flattened so to speak, into a single, cohesive image.
